VRE Endowment

The VRE Model

V-R-E.org operates a Value Retained Endowment model. We believe a family contribution should be a "seed," not a one-off meal.

The Principal is Permanent: Every pound contributed remains in the fund, protected and growing. It is never "used up." We invest exclusively in high-yield, diversified portfolios of dividend-paying shares, managed with the same rigour as a private family office.

The Yield is the Mission: We harvest those dividends—targeting a 7%+ annual yield—to provide a "perpetual salary" for our causes. While the principal stays safe, the output is constant.

The Grant Cycle: This institutional-grade income is awarded as direct, monthly grants through our three partner charities. Because the engine never stops, the support never fades.

The Voiceless

We focus our grant-making engine on three specific areas: Environment, Children, and Animals. We chose these three because they share one tragic commonality: They cannot help themselves.

They cannot lobby for their own protection. They cannot vote for a better future. They cannot ask for a raise to combat inflation.

They rely entirely on the integrity of our stewardship. To give a one-off donation is a kind gesture; to give a VRE Endowment is to give them a permanent voice.
